- Does the RAMS include a lift plan?
- For routine lifts within the plant's capacity, the RAMS covers it. For tandem, complex or blind lifts you'll need a separate lift plan signed by an Appointed Person — the RAMS references and prompts for it.
- How is CPCS / NPORS evidence handled?
- Named operators are listed with card numbers and expiries, and the RAMS prompts you to attach copies before issue.
- What about ground conditions?
- The RAMS includes a ground assessment section — bearing capacity, buried services, slopes and edge-of-excavation stand-off distances.
- Does it cover MEWPs?
- Yes — MEWP-specific pre-use checks, family / category / IPAF card, rescue plan and secondary guarding are included when a MEWP is on the brief.
