A Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) is a structured way of breaking a task down into individual steps, identifying the hazards in each step and defining the preventive controls and PPE required.

JHA (Job Hazard Analysis) and JSA (Job Safety Analysis) are largely interchangeable terms. Some employers prefer one or the other. Both follow the same job-step / hazard / control structure.
