- HSG33 treats every roof as fragile until proven otherwise — and 'proof' means inspection by a competent person who knows the material and its age. Cement fibre and asbestos cement sheets are fragile by default; older corrugated iron, plywood deck and built-up felt may have degraded. Your RAMS must record the assessment, not assume the answer.
- When do I need a hot works permit?
